MCI can accept drawings in PDF and TIF format. MCI utilizes different means to receive solid models due to the variety of platforms. What is the range of part quantities that MCI typically produces?

MCI targets medium production projects, 100 – 4,000 estimated annual production. With multi-staged projects and to serve our customers needs, MCI has processed smaller volume projects. MCI values building long term partnerships with our customers, servicing their needs.

Can you modify my in-house fixtures, or fixtures from another outside supplier, for use on your machine tools?

Would MCI be able to locate a foundry to pour my casting and quote a price for the finish-machined part?

Yes, MCI maintains contact with several casting suppliers and has successfully developed project proposals that have included the purchase of castings for a wide range of part sizes. Would MCI be able to manage a prototype machining project with multiple stages with my engineering staff?

Yes. MCI is fully staffed with experienced personnel managing and delivering projects from initial prototypes to production released components. We are fully trained and experienced with the multistage Advanced Product Quality Planning process and simultaneous engineering prototype programs. MCI’s engineering department is experienced with project management of prototype and production projects to meet or exceed your requirements and assist you with your product development with design for manufacturing and assembly expertise. MCI can also provide six sigma black belt experience to collaborate with your design for six sigma project.

Does MCI design and build its own machining fixtures or is that done by an outside supplier?

MCI utilizes both fixturing strategies to meet customer requirements, control project costs, and meet program timing.
